Rutgers Ballroom and Latin Dance Club is a social and competitive club that accepts members from all skill levels. On select practices, we offer professional instruction from our world-renowned coaches, Linas Korieva, Nikita Malakhov, and Nadezda Vlasova, for the 10 international Standard and Latin styles of dance. These include the ChaCha, Rumba, Jive, Samba, Waltz, Tango, Quickstep, and Foxtrot.
For members looking to compete, you can pay an additional $40 at the beginning of the semester, and the club will pay for your early registration fee for all competitions for the semester. These dues go towards paying for competition expenses, food and travel expenses, and planning for our annual Rutgers competition and socials. On Sundays and Tuesdays, practices will be held at College Ave Gym (Upper Gym). On Mondays, practices will be held at College Ave (Dance Studio). On Wednesdays, practices will be held at Werblin (MPR). On Thursday, practices will be held at the Cook Rec Center (MPR). On Fridays, practices will be held at Werblin (MPR)
