Dear SCNJ Families,
As the "back-to-school" rush begins and we draw closer to another school year, we want to acknowledge how challenging this season can be for grieving families. The milestones you imagined for your child will always hold a special place in your heart, and it's okay if this time of year feels especially difficult. You are not alone.
Please be gentle with yourself. There is no timeline for grief, and every emotion you experience reflects the deep love you have for your child.
The SIDS Center of New Jersey is thinking of you and holding you close in our hearts. May you find moments of comfort, strength, and peace in the days ahead. Whenever you need us, we are here for you.
