Sigrid Schultz was an American journalist who intrepidly and courageously covered N**i Germany for the Chicago Tribune in the years leading up to and during WWII. We asked the top winners of our annual Sigrid Schultz scholarship contest, (from left to right) Eary Banushi, Marcus Saunders and Elijah Hernandez, how they were inspired by her work as a reporter. Eary Banushi was our first place winner, Kyle Zarnoch came in second, and Marcus Saunders and Elijah Hernandez tied for third.
