The Forestry Department has joined forces with to increase your access to your favourite seedlings 🌱 🌱

Mark your calendars and come on out to collect free seedlings from a selection of timber, ornamental and fruit.

This was the quickest most eventful trip ever. I really don't think I spent 24 hours in any given spot, constantly moving. Spending a little time with the kids served to slow things down a bit.

🇯🇲🇯🇲🇯🇲 No trip to is ever complete without going back to where I came from and giving back in any little way I can. Visiting these schools gives me life and constantly reminds me of my purpose. No matter how small the deed, our efforts are always appreciated by the teachers, parents and especially the kids.

As I look into the eyes of these little beauties I always imagine what they could become if given the right opportunities and right access to a quality education.

🚸🚸🚸There it is, their playground, a scene that's troubled me for years. Essentially made up of old tires. Which is the reason I've decided to make this our next project. I've wanted a real playground for these kids since the inception of this charity over a decade ago. I don't care how long it takes, it's gonna happen. Education is key, but physical activities help to make these kids whole. Our next fundraising focus will be to have a playground installed for these kiddos. The catalyst for the start of this charity has always been my son. As I watched him grow and compared what he and his sister were exposed to in American schools, it always lead me wanting more for their counterparts in Jamaica.

With your help, monetary, advice, or volunteerism, I'm sure we can make it happen. Our goal for this next school year is to have a real play area created/ installed for the kids at the Nine Turns Methodist Basic School in My hometown in . 🇯🇲

Looks definitely like a place to visit. Somewhere to put on my bucket list.

I spent two beautiful days in Marrakesh, Morocco, which wasn’t enough time to experience so much magnificent culture. But I did get to explore Souk Semmarine, indulge in a thrillingly delicious meal underneath a Moroccan tent, learn about the art of rug making (especially how they’re made with the consortium of 360 women), and dance the night away! Thank you for a soul filling time, Morocco 🇲🇦

Blaze it Up Dance Class is an electrifying movement by Raul Blaze that takes physical and mental health anywhere that there are people willing to participate.

One of the things I enjoy doing is assisting other charities. I often feel that my resources are limited and the best thing to do is team up with other organizations. I've luckily gotten the chance to do just that over the years in Jamaica.

There have been so many people that have supported our mission throughout the years. For this, I'm constantly in appreciation of all of their efforts. Whether it's their donations; monetary, in- kind services, or simply giving advice. Gratitude is definitely a must. However, there is one person I must say that has been there from the very beginning and has supported every aspect of what we do. One of the few people I trust my life or my children's to travel with on the island.

I really want to say a very special thank you to Ladley, who has literally been my ride or die. He's been the person there to assist with transportation when we had our Back to School events. He's assisted the principals of all the schools in Clarendon with picking up their barrels from the wharve in Kingston. Sometimes spending entire 12 hour days with the principals to go through the process of securing barrel waivers. Facilitated my drop-in visits to the schools and just about everything else that's necessary.

Those of you know how miserable and comedic he can be, but honestly he's the kindest man ever behind all of that🤫. I'm giving him his flowers today because I don't know what I would have done without his dedication and dependability throughout the years. Most of all, being flexible with his own work schedule to accommodate my brilliant ideas. 🙂

Nine Turns Basic School showcasing the future leaders of Jamaica. The desire to be a part of change hasn't wavered since this charity started over 12 years ago. With all the ups and downs with running a charity in Jamaica, being around the kids keeps you focused.

Initially our goal was to bring back some school supplies for the kids. Fortunately with your donations, that one thought blossomed into providing school uniforms, aiding with Covid preparedness, being a conduit for scholarships, providing much needed school supplies, and equipment, increasing the number of schools we assist, plus so much more.

What an eventful day we had visiting the children at Cove Early Childhood. Cove is the largest of all the schools we work with and we were thrilled to spend some time their classrooms. The kids at all the schools we visited seemed to be fans of the peace ✌️ sign. Seeing the excitement, joy and innocence in their faces truly warmed our hearts.
