Meetings are Wednesdays from 3:05-4:30pm in Bellin A&B in the Student Center The full-time undergraduate students of CCSU make up the membership of the SGA.
The Student Government Association is for everyone who would like to help make CCSU the best it can be. The SGA Senate is the representative body of the SGA. Its members, the executive officers and senators of the SGA, are democratically elected by the full-time undergraduates of CCSU. The senate is responsible for acting as “The Voice of Student’s.” We handle their concerns, needs and celebration

Hi Blue Devils!
I'm Stephanie Elissaint, a second-year honors student with double majors in Political Science and Criminology presently serving in the Student Government Association as Treasurer.
This role has enabled me to manage the clubs' budgets, attain organization skills and a methodical mindset. Being a Treasurer has allowed me to act upon the problems and concerns of the students and the clubs on campus. Most importantly, the role of Treasurer provides me the privilege to work with club officers to allocate funds to the numerous clubs and organizations on campus.
For the term I've been a student leader, I've come to realize leadership is something I'm enthusiastic about and want to continue committing myself to greater responsibilities, therefore, I'm running for re-election!
As the current Treasurer I feel that I am the most experienced and well-prepared candidate to take on this position.
I can be credited as the Chairwoman of the finance committee, as well as as Barrows Hall Resident Assistant and a John Lewis Institute for Social Justice Scholar.
I'm positive that I have potential to help students attain goals they've set for their clubs. I aspire to help my peers, and I believe this is the ideal opportunity.
I like to describe myself as diplomatic, liberal and rational. If I am re-elected,
I would continue to assure all issues and concerns of my peers are addressed. I will make myself available to the student body, my peers will know and understand that I am here for them and their needs. I will serve as a bridge between the student life and the Student Government.

The office of the University Ombudsperson is located in Davidson Hall, room 210, it serves as a safe place for students & faculty to confidentially speak on any issue, concern, problem, or dispute on campus!✅
