MPTPA Parent Group

I just received notification that this page will be closed by Facebook/Meta for inappropriate activity. I tried posting the warning and they said the same about that. This page was originally set up for MPTPA which doesn’t exist anymore anyway. I do not monitor it and honestly do not get on it often. I was a parent in the group and somehow my name was put on the account. I am fine with it going away and you can make up your own new page.

Yankee Candle orders are in. I will be distributing them on Wednesday, May 4th between 1:30-7:00 PM. If you need to make other arrangements please contact [email protected]. Thank you to those who supported this fundraiser.

Your student should have received a Mixed Bag Design fundraising packet just prior to the break. I have decided to extend the deadline for returning orders to school until Monday, April 25th 5o allow more time. This is a firm deadline though so I can get the orders entered into the computer. I have been asked to post the following:

Day of Service is April 6th from 9-11 (half day). Students will be going to places around town (New Britain) in groups of 10. Many of the places are parks for clean up. Places might include Hungerford Park Children's Museum, YMCA, YWCA, Jerome Home, Bojnowski Home, Andrews Home, CCARC, Friendship Center, NB Resource Center, Salvation Army, Boys and Girls Club, PAL, Animal Shelter, etc.

All students can participate even PreK. If you have any questions please contact Ms. Frenette at [email protected].

Yankee Candle brochures should be going home with your student by the end of the week. The return date is before April 1st. There is also the opportunity to order online. The MPTPA Parent Group appreciates your support. If you have any questions please contact Marcy at [email protected].

There is an MPTPA Parent Group meeting tonight at 6:00.

Don't forget butter braids will be delivered on Wednesday. They must be picked up that day from 10-5 at school or notify Marcy if your child is to bring them him on the bus. Thank you.

Don't forget - the butter braid order forms and payment are due on Monday, November 30th.

I have been asked to let parents know that there will be a photographer at the Masquerade Ball tomorrow night 11/20/15. I'm sorry I don't know details because my son is not attending!!
