CCSU Communication Club

CCSU is having a Love Wins event where they are collecting new toys, winter clothing, and baby items, along with non-perishable food. All donations will go to New Britain and Hartford agencies, along with Maria’s Place food pantry. Help us turn December 14 into a day of giving through the Love Wins Community Drive and remember Ana Grace, her classmates, and educators who lost their lives at Sandy Hook Elementary School six years ago.

Please delivered any donations to the front of Davidson Hall on December t14 between 6 a.m. and noon.

Love Wins CCSU, The Ana Grace Project, and the Consolidated School District of New Britain are collaborating on the Love Wins Community Drive with the ultimate goal of making a difference in the lives of children and families in our communities.

Only 7 days until the new semester starts! Who’s excited?

The Fourteen inductees ( twelve shown) receiving their awards and becoming members of the Communication honor society. Celebrating their academic achievements.

A Human Library is an event that encourages people from different backgrounds to talk with and learn from each other. Human Books are volunteers who are willing to share their stories and/or their expertise. Participants can “borrow” human books for approximately 20 mins at a time in order to have a conversation and ask questions about the book's topic. We are having a very special meeting tomorrow with a guest speaker. Stop in the Communications departments conference room for some refreshments and to gain the knowledge the guest speaker has to offer.
