Hello everyone, we are excited to announce the re-opening of NB Makerspace & Summer Camps! We thank everyone for being patient during the height of coronavirus.

Currently, the plan is holding 4-day camps that last 3 hours each. This years curriculum includes INTRODUCTION TO DRONES, 3D PRINTING, LASER ENGRAVING & CODING!

Goodbye 2020! What a year! The Makerspace is still hibernating so we can keep kids healthy, but we will open again! Stay tuned!

​For now I would like to introduce you to my new company and project Scout www.scout.click. Inspired by the Makerspace I created a better search engine for kids, then got carried away and also have an all-ages version. This took five years! We are now a small but seed funded company and close to launching!

How can you help? We are going to be using Kickstarter to promote our launch. Follow our FB page facebook.com/scout.click​ to stay informed!

So what is Scout? It's a next generation search engine without ads, better privacy, and more importantly, better, organic results. It's a crowd-ranked search engine, which means people can affect the results, as opposed to the top results just being ads or what one company decides is best.

Hi NB, really excited to introduce to you our new Program Director Eddie Brown. Eddie is a former Texas State Bobcat who managed their Makerspace, and now is the owner of https://capitollaser.com/. He's also logged like a million miles drone racing. Welcome Eddie!

A Covid update as well, we are working towards reopening in a safe way soon with many new classes and events, stay tuned!
