New Braunfels Toastmasters

Join us for our 7:00 PM meeting tonight!! If you’re interested in enhancing your communication and public speaking skills, New Braunfels Toastmasters is the place for you!!

Due to the weather conditions, we have decided to cancel tonight’s meeting 4/21, out of an abundance of caution. We have several members who would be traveling longer distances, and we want to ensure no one feels pressured to make an unsafe journey.

We are so incredibly proud of all of the astonishing speakers that participated in Tuesday’s Club Speech Contest. A special congratulations to Al Kaufmann for taking first place in the International Speech contest and we wish him the best of luck representing New Braunfels Toastmasters in the Area I53 Contest on April 11th. We would also like to congratulate Kevin Reed for the best evaluation of the Evaluation Contest, as well as our 2nd and 3rd place holders, Lauren Wolgamott and Al Kaufmann. Our 2nd and 3rd place for the International Contest were Mark Crider (as seen posing as Kevin Reed lol) and Mike Diaz. Thank you to all that pariticipated and supported our club. Be sure to attend the Area I53 Contest to support our clubs winners!!

We had a “Sagacious” group at last nights meeting (per our word of the evening)! Here is our best evaluator recipient for the wonderful feedback she gave to a first time speaker!

Speaking of evaluations….Evaluation will be one of the speech contest categories next week at our club contest! Winners of the Evaluation and International section have the opportunity to compete at the area level. Here are some highlights from our meeting tonight! The recipients of Best Evaluator and Best Table Topics Response! If you’re interested in improving your public speaking skills, join us at our next meeting. We meet every Tuesday at 7PM!

Last week was our Tuesday Social! Every first Tuesday of the month we have a shortened meeting and head over to Calahan’s Pub and Pizza. It’s a great way to get to know each other and end a wonderful meeting with some fun and pizza! Join us tomorrow at 7pm for our meeting!

Last week we had a meeting full of creativity. In honor of National Play-Doh day, our Toastmaster of the Evening made our theme, Play-Doh. As you can imagine, it was a lot of fun! We had engaging and thoughtful table topic questions, great speakers, and wonderful evaluations. To recognize the accomplishments of our members, we held awards for our best evaluator and a double level completion! We are so proud of this club! Please join us next Tuesday at 7:00 pm for a meeting full of growth and learning!
