Our EAGLES 🦅 were all smiles and high fives at car drop off this morning. CHS COOGS were on hand opening doors and welcoming our students on this FriYAY! It’s AMAZING and heartfelt to see when our Eagles come back to campus to help. Lots of teacher hugs today too. We are incredibly thankful for these young men and the time they spent with us this morning. We are cheering them on tonight as they face NBHS at the WURSTbowl. Let’s GOOO COOGS!

It's almost time for the big game!

A few key times to keep in mind as you get ready to head to Cougar Stadium:
5:30 p.m. Parking Lots Open
6:30 p.m. Stadium Gates Open
7:30 p.m. Kick Off

Here are the highlights regarding parking:
1. Four parking lot entry points will be available along the IH-35N frontage road,
immediately in front of the CISD Support Service building and stretching all the way to the southwest corner of Canyon HS.
2. FM 1101 will offer drivers one entry point, located near the baseball complex
3. Exits will be available in five spots along IH-35 and two spots along FM 1101

We had such a wonderful first day filled with so many smiling faces! Thank you to our families for your patience, support, and positivity as we kicked off an amazing school year together!

A few reminders as we head into the rest of the week:

✅Dismissal Tags: Please don’t forget your pink dismissal tag for car riders and our Kinder - 1st grade walkers. Having your tag ready helps us keep dismissal safe and moving smoothly!

⏰ School Hours:
• Doors open at 7:00 a.m.
• Tardy bell rings at 7:35 a.m.
• Dismissal bell rings at 3:10 p.m.

🍎 Lunch Visitors: Our campus will be closed to lunch visitors this week while we spend time teaching, practicing, and reviewing cafeteria procedures and expectations with our Eagles. We appreciate your understanding and support as we help establish strong routines for the year!

We are SO excited to welcome our students for the FIRST DAY OF SCHOOL! 🎉

🏫 Doors Open: 7:00 AM
🔔 Tardy Bell: 7:35 AM

🍎 Kindergarten Families:
Kindergarten students have the option of a delayed start at 8:00 AM. Families choosing the delayed start will meet us in the cafeteria no later than 8:00 AM.

Get those backpacks ready, pick out those first-day outfits, and get ready for an AMAZING year at Freiheit! ❤️🤍💙
