Morningside Elementary PTA Morningside Elementary PTA is a non-profit dedicated to the students of Morningside.

The MES PTA General Meeting has been canceled for this evening. It is being rescheduled and members will be notified asap.
We will continue with our Parent AIM program meeting this evening in the library at 5:30PM.

Get a jump start on Spring cleaning! We are partnering up with Smithson Valley High School senior, Abby Redin, and Soles4Souls, www.soles4souls.org, to participate in a shoe drive. The best part? This drive accepts, " ANY shoe in ANY condition, EVEN singles"👠👡👢👞👟🥾😀

Dig through your garage and closets this weekend! We will begin accepting donations next Friday (Jan.24th) in the school foyer.

Please feel free to post photos of your finds over the weekend!

We are having a second semester membership drive from Jan. 15 thru Jan. 31 ! The winning class will win a FROYO party from Orange Leaf 🍨

We are hoping to recruit members from the business community. Please share if you know of a business that would like to support MES PTA!

Please send cash or check made out to MES PTA to the front office. Please make sure to indicate TEACHER'S NAME with payment. The cost and contest points allotted are as follows:

Business membership $25/ 5 points for contest (This membership is not offered thru www.joinpta.org. Please send cash/check to the school or mail payment to Morningside Elementary, 3855 Morningside Dr, New Braunfels TX 78132

Family membership $15/ 3 points for contest

Individual membership $ 8/ 1 point for contest

The programs sponsored by the PTA this year will be focusing on Healthy Minds. The first of these programs will be offered to parents and students next week. We will have two more programs coming to the school over the next couple of months as well. We are excited to have fun, educational and entertaining programs come to MES that will focus on emotional and academic mental health. We hope that the community will join us on Thursday, Jan. 16th at 5:30 in the Library for the Bullying Parent program presented by Aim for Success. Congratulations to our MES Yearbook Cover contest winners! Each student will receive a free yearbook! You can order yearbooks online for $25 at ybpay.lifetouch.com , Yearbook ID Code: 13319320 thru March 27, 2020. You can also send cash/check made payable to MES PTA with your yearbook envelope.
