Good morning everyone! Just a reminder that there are NO classes tomorrow, Saturday, morning because it’s DAN TESTING DAY! 🎉🎉🎉
There is a free clinic (mandatory for all candidates) from 10am-noon that all red belts and blackbelts are welcome to take, taught by the 3 Kyo Sa candidates.
Following that the official test will start at 1:30! Everyone is welcome to come watch the test and support the 5 Cho Dan (1st degree) candidates, the 1 Sahm Dan (3rd degree) candidate and the 3 Kyo Sa (certified instructor) candidates! I always encourage senior green belts and red belts to come watch a blackbelt test at some point so they can see what’s coming and what to expect 😊

Things have changed & we’re missing very important people in the front row now….but the memories live on & so does the tradition 💙💙
For those who aren’t familiar with our tradition…many years ago the sound system broke at Sa Bom Nim Nunans tournament so Kwan Jhang Nim Riley said we’d improvise. He stood at the front & loudly led us in the National Anthem, off key as he always was but with all his heart. Thus the Region 6 tradition of singing the anthem ourselves was born & it was something he looked forward to at every tournament & loved with a passion ❤️ We missed hearing his off key voice & Sa Bom Nim Tom Coxs voice balancing his out so much but I have no doubt that they were smiling down at us ❤️

The amazing Mrs Deanna Baker came & volunteered her time to take pictures of our tournament this weekend, The 21st Annual Texas Tang Soo Do Classic - Memorial Edition ❤️ She outdid herself this year capturing the emotions & heart of the event 💙 As always, she says to save & use the photos as you’d like ❤️
