New nails just make me HAPPY! It’s one of my little self-care indulgences. This time I was a couple of weeks behind schedule. We have some precious and challenging times occurring in our family right now so some things have taken a little longer than usual. But honestly, I’m doing amazing on the self-care that keeps me healthy (body, mind, soul) and happy - because that’s how I get to show up best for those who need me.

Today, this is me: pinched nerve in my neck, hot sock full of rice, hair still wet from the shower, no makeup, feeling borderline narcoleptic because the sun hasn’t been out in at least two days and your girl is addicted to sun and just not feeling my strongest or my best - but still in love with myself and with life. 💕 Your life satisfaction and your self love don’t require perfection or constant positivity. Thank goodness. 😜 A very good life has good days and bad days and lots of mediocre ones too.
