Happy first day of Summer Break! ☀️😎 We’ve had an amazing year at HLES and are so proud of all our students accomplished this year. We hope everyone has a fun, safe, and relaxing summer filled with great memories. We can’t wait to see everyone back in August!

Today our 5th graders walked the halls for the last time as elementary students. ❤️🎓 We are so proud of all they have accomplished and the leaders they have become during their time at HLES. As they move on to middle school, we know they will continue to do amazing things. We will miss them so much and wish them the very best on their next adventure!

Today we welcomed back the Class of 2026 for their Senior Walk through the halls one last time! 🎓❤️ It was so special to see our former Leopards again and celebrate all they have accomplished. We are incredibly proud of each of them and can’t wait to see all the amazing things their future holds!

Our 4th graders had a great time celebrating Field Day at Fiesta Lanes! Lots of fun, laughter, and friendly competition made for a memorable day with friends and teachers! 🎳

Happy Nurse’s Appreciation Day! We are so thankful for Nurse Kaley and all she does to care for our students and staff each day. Her kindness, compassion, and dedication make a difference at HLES, and we are grateful to have her as part of our school family!

Field Day was a huge success today! A big thank you to our specials team, especially Coach Lindsey, for putting together such a fun and organized event for our students. We are also so proud of our 5th grade student leaders who did an amazing job running stations and leading groups of our kindergarten through 3rd grade students throughout the day. Their leadership, patience, and enthusiasm truly stood out!

Last week, Mrs. Brown’s 5th grade class helped Mrs. Boyd’s class learn how to illustrate like Eric Carle! 🎨📚 Our students loved working together and showing creativity through art inspired by such a beloved author and illustrator!

Our 3rd graders loved spending time with our kindergarten friends during Buddy Reading! It was so special to see our older students encouraging, reading with, and building connections with our youngest learners. We are proud of the leadership and kindness they showed!
