At Stepping Scales, we know that education is never one-size-fits-all. We use a variety of curricula and support all of our students' unique goals. For a few of the students who attended lessons today, here are the homework assignments they were given:
L will search for Baroque and Classical pieces to add to her repertoire for the 2026 Piano Guild Auditions.
E will practice her finger numbers.
I will identify note names on the keys.
P will identify note names on the staff.
T will memorize all major and minor white key triads as well as all the C scale chords.
K will research his selected musical time period to identify key elements in preparation for his composition project.
Their teacher has pieces to find and books to order! What great joy it is to teach music to so many! 🧡❤️💚💙
