Welcome to SACC Summer 2026!

The SACC Summer staff is excited to meet all the campers.

Summer camp begins June 1 and ends August 7. The program hours are 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday through Friday. There will be no camp on the following days: June 19, July 2 and July 3. Campers may be dropped off or picked up at any time during operating hours with the exception of field trip and swim trip days.
Field trips will take place on Tuesdays, and swim trips will take place on Thursdays. The first swim trip will be June 4, and the first field trip will be June 9. Campus Site Leads will provide specific departure times and additional details regarding these trips. Please note that no staff members will remain on campus during field trips or swim trips. If a camper is unable to attend on those days, alternate arrangements will need to be made.

A morning and afternoon snack will be provided daily. Lunch will not be provided except on field trip days. Please pack a lunch each day unless otherwise communicated.

Students may bring sunscreen to camp and apply it themselves as needed.

I am sharing important information regarding our SACC Summer Program for those who will be attending.

We will provide both a morning and afternoon snack each day. Lunch will not be provided on regular program days, so please send a lunch with your child daily.

Field trips are scheduled for Tuesdays, and swim trips will take place on Thursdays. Please note that during the first week of camp, there will be a swim trip but no field trip. Lunch will be provided on field trip days, with one exception.

Your campus Site Lead will share more specific details—including dates, times, and locations for field trips—during the first week of camp.

This is a reminder that registration for the 2026–2027 school year will open tonight at 7:00 PM. All families must complete a new registration, even if your child is currently enrolled or on the waitlist for the 2025–2026 school year.

Please note that registration is first come, first served. Applications are time-stamped once they are fully completed and submitted through Eleyo.

Kindly allow up to 20 school days for us to review and process applications for all 21 campuses. After that time, families who are placed on the waitlist will receive an email notification. Once waitlist notifications are sent, you may reach out to inquire about your position on the list.

Home Comal ISD's School Age Child Care (SACC) serves more than 1,500 children in kindergarten through fifth grade on a daily basis providing safe, quality, affordable after school care.

Registration for the 2026–2027 school year will open on April 13th at 7:00 PM.

Spots are limited and based on the number of staff confirmed for the upcoming school year. Because many of our staff are high school and college students, availability can change each year, which may impact capacity at each campus.

All families must submit a new application, including those currently enrolled or on the 2025–2026 waitlist. Applications are processed in the order they are received and are time-stamped through Eleyo.

Please note that many families register at the same time, and most campuses begin forming waitlists by 7:05 PM—if not earlier. We recommend logging in a few minutes early and being ready to submit right at 7:00 PM.

The initial registration process will take up to 20 school days to complete. Please allow us this time to carefully review each application, as all applications are individually reviewed for all 21 campuses.

At the conclusion of the initial registration period, you will receive an email notifying you of your status, including if you have been placed on a waitlist. At that time, you are welcome to reach out to inquire about your position on the waitlist.

As additional staff are hired, Doris, Pam, or I will contact the next family on the waitlist to offer available spots.

Please note: If your child is enrolled, the registration fee and first bi-weekly payment will be due at the time of enrollment.

📣 Summer Registration Update

Summer registration will be closing this Friday! This also marks the end of our 20-day initial enrollment review period.

We truly appreciate your patience as we carefully review and approve each application individually.

📧 If your child is currently on the waitlist, you will receive an email update on Monday. Please note that we will continue to open additional spots leading up to summer as we hire more staff. At this time, we are unable to provide a specific timeline or the number of spots that may become available.

📌 Reminders:
• If you indicated your child has an IEP or 504 plan and have not yet submitted documentation, please email it as soon as possible for review.
• If you indicated military status, please email Doris Padilla with your military ID so the discount can be applied.

📣 SACC Summer 2026 Registration Opens Soon!

SACC Summer 2026 registration will open Monday, February 23rd at 7:00 PM.

Please note that we have moved registration to the evening based on family feedback that the previous time made it difficult to get students to school and complete registration. We hope this new time is more convenient for everyone!

⏳ Enrollment Timeline:

The initial enrollment process will take up to 20 business days to complete.

After the first 20 business days, we will begin emailing families who are placed on the waitlist.

As we hire additional staff leading up to summer, we will continue to re-evaluate campus capacity. If additional spots become available, we will contact families on the waitlist.
