FDE Fire!!

Clean, hot, and built to perform — we took the Match X 2311 and supercharged it. gave it the full treatment: ported tri-top slide, custom aluminum grip, trigger, lighter recoil spring, tuned stock internals, sight blocked, and a fresh FDE Cerakote finish. Only thing missing is the milling for the RMR mount. Flat-shooting, fast-recovering, and ready to earn every split. killed this build for sure! This is easily the baddest Match X out!! Hit him up and let him know I sent you and he will get you squared away for a reasonable price.

Updated Home-Defense Setup

Honey Badger in .300 Blackout, paired with the new Axial. Running 190gr Sub-X® subsonic, this build checks every box of the Triple C Standard we demand for HD guns:
1️⃣ Compatibility
2️⃣ Capability
3️⃣ Capacity

Compact, quiet, and purpose-built for the environments that matter most.

Lightweight frame, collapsible stock, EXPS HWS, PLHv2, and suppressed subsonic performance makes this platform ideal for tight spaces while still packing serious knockdown power. When it comes to defending home and family, confidence comes from preparation—and the right tools.

What’s your go-to setup for protecting your castle?

No Light-No Excuse

This week we had the privilege of running another Law Enforcement Diminished Environment Course. Officers from multiple agencies and specialized units came together on the same range, under the same conditions, to sharpen skills that directly impact how they serve their communities.

The focus of this course was clear:
- Accuracy – making every round count when lives are on the line.
- PID (Positive Identification) – ensuring the right decisions under pressure and uncertainty.
- Lighting & Environmental Considerations – learning to control what you can, and adapt to what you can’t.
- Speed with Accountability – moving fast, but never faster than you can process.
- Mechanics = consistency that makes you accurate, fast, and accountable under stress.

Training in diminished environments isn’t about comfort—it’s about preparation. These officers put in hundreds of reps, tested their decision-making, and pushed themselves well past daylight “qualification” standards. The result? Increased confidence, sharper performance, and a stronger ability to operate when visibility and time are against them.

Proud of the work these Officers put in, and grateful for the commitment they show to going home safe, protecting their partners, and serving their communities at the highest level.

Classroom Participation Credit
——
In this room, the stakes are real.
We break down principles and shared experiences that actually work on the street, not just on the range. Every movement, every decision, every rep has one goal: making sure you go home at the end of your shift.

We talk speed and accuracy, but we also talk decision-making, communication, and owning the fight under stress—because the job demands all of it.

-Real-world application from real-world experience.
-Building skills that instantly translate from the classroom to the street without a gap.
-Training with those who’ve stood in the same shoes you wear every day.

Your community depends on you. Your teammates depend on you. And you owe it to yourself to train beyond the minimum standard.

📅 Our next LE class Diminished Environment is coming Aug 26-27th with Waco Pd through , are you in?

PROOF OF PERFORMANCE

These photos aren’t just snapshots — they’re proof of performance.

Every frame shows what we train for:
- Aggressive, controlled movement between positions.
- Fast, deliberate engagements from behind cover.
- Clean reloads and weapon manipulations without breaking focus.
- The same intensity in training that the fight will demand.

This is performance shooting — speed, accuracy, and decision-making under pressure.
We push speed until accuracy breaks, then rebuild both.
We run reloads, transitions, and malfunctions under stress.
We make you think with a gun in your hands — because in the real world, hesitation is the enemy.

Flat range comfort is a trap.
Real-world performance is the goal.
And we train like our lives — and someone else’s — depend on it.

Check the Gladiator Gunz Training Group schedule for upcoming training or if your agency/dept wants to coordinate LE only training give us a call and let’s make it happen. — your next fight might not give you a warm-up.”

CONSISTENCY BREEDS PERFORMANCE

Why are we discussing pistol grip in our carbine class?
“If your fundamentals change from pistol to carbine, you don’t have fundamentals—you have preferences.”

In our LE Performance Carbine classes, we emphasize grip continuity—because the way you grip a pistol should directly inform the way you grip a rifle. The principles are more similar than most shooters realize:

- Front-to-back pressure
- High, aggressive support hand engagement
- Clamp the gun, don’t just touch it
- Leverage thumb placement to manage recoil and return-to-zero
- R.A.D (tell you later)

Whether you’re running a pistol or a suppressed duty rifle, the physics don’t care. The human input behind the gun dictates performance.

Why This Matters for LEOs:

According to the FBI’s Law Enforcement Officers Killed and Assaulted (LEOKA) report:
• 38% of officers killed in the line of duty between 2018–2023 were ambushed or caught off guard.
• The average distance of officer-involved shootings (OIS) with long guns was 15–25 yards.
• Officers who transitioned to their pistol under stress had a 27% hit probability without reinforcement of transferable skills.

These aren’t just statistics—they’re signals.

If your grip mechanics fall apart during a weapon transition or break down under pressure, you’re losing precious time and accuracy. We bridge that gap.

Why We Teach It This Way:

When we demonstrate grip similarity between the pistol and carbine:
• Students immediately understand the correlation across platforms
• Transitions become more fluid and instinctive
• Movement under pressure becomes more efficient
• Accuracy improves when stress is introduced

We’re not just out here teaching you to shoot—we’re building systems of principles.

Field Review: Energetic Armament LEX Suppressor

Platform: 10.5 SBR
Caliber: 5.56mm
Usage Environment: Live-fire LE performance carbine course
Instructor/End-User: Law Enforcement & Tactical Fi****ms Instructor

Tech Specs Recap
• Length: 5 inches
• Weight: 9.4 oz
• Material: 17-4 Stainless Steel (Black Nitride finish)
• Mount: ½-28 Direct Thread (HUB compatible)
• End Cap: Standard flash suppressor
• ID Feature: Patented Serial ID Ring
• Use Case: Law Enforcement Patrol Rifle Suppressor (LEO-only)

Suppression & Signature Management

The LEX proved to be an outstanding performer in reducing both audible report and muzzle signature. Whether I was shooting on the move, engaging steel at distance, or teaching reloads and transitions under stress, this suppressor kept the recoil impulse consistent and manageable.

Low back pressure was no exaggeration—I ran this with no gas tuning and no reliability issues. The cyclic rate remained consistent, even in high round count drills and under heat.

Patrol Carbine Ready: At just 5” and 9.4 oz, this thing is cruiser-ready. It clears racks, doesn’t shift weight too far forward, and plays nice with extended handguards and lights. It’s nimble on dynamic entries and doesn’t add unnecessary fatigue when teaching long days in armor.

The fact that it’s direct thread but still HUB compatible gives departments options for modularity without complicating the program.

Maintenance & Construction: The all-stainless steel build screams durability. After hundreds of rounds during training—including suppressed movement drills, multiple mag changes, and high-volume demos—it never loosened, never failed, and didn’t require constant babysitting. Wipe down, bore snake, and it’s back in the fight.

Sound & Overpressure: The LEX shines here. Minimal blowback, reduced concussion, and great shooter comfort even during extended strings. That means better focus, better communication, and less sensory overload for the shooter and teammates in close proximity.

The LEX isn’t a boutique suppressor—it’s built for duty.
Compact, affordable, and dependable on unmodified patrol rifles.
