PASS is here to support Texas students on their reading journey.

The Parent Access to Supplemental Supports (PASS) program provides a $400 tutoring grant for eligible Texas public school students to access approved tutoring services that support reading growth. PASS gives eligible families the flexibility to choose approved tutoring services that fit their student's needs.

Wondering if your student qualifies? PASS is available to eligible Texas public school students who scored "Did Not Meet Grade Level" on the Grade 3 Reading STAAR in spring 2026.

Applications open September 1, 2026. Create an account, learn more about eligibility and get ready to apply at the PASS website (PASS.TEA.TEXAS.GOV).
