We have over 18 acres right now with grazing pastures, weed control, rotation, fertilization, and dragging to breakdown manure in the dry lots. Our main (red) barn features a private, exclusive locked tack room with lighting, saddle racks, blanket racks, and shelving. Our main barn also has hay storage with moisture control, with lights in the main area also. It also features a well, an automatic
waterer that gets regular maintenance, and currently two enclosed airy stalls with natural open lighting, drainage control, and ground replacement, we do have plans for more stalls, and our goal is to have at least 3 more by 2016. Our new second (white) barn is still in the process of updates/completion, and was just built in late 2013 as a high school project of Delaney’s with the supervision/guidance and assistance of her father, and farm owner Tim Anderson. It is entirely safe, functional, and has a large sturdy structure, and weather protection for your horses, we do have plans to finish the tack room in it, which will also be an exclusive, private, locked, lit tack area. This barn is also semi-enclosed as we like our equine to have constant access to shelter from Missouri weather, and we like "Wiggle room" or exercise space instead of them being locked in a stall 24/7 (Although upon special request we may be able to accommodate stabling needs seasonally.) Experienced care of husband/wife, and family team committed to quality, and satisfied equine. And not interested in the typical horse-world gossip/drama. A very friendly, quiet environment, but this is our home so we appreciate respect of our property,and animal family from our guests. We require Coggins, and have vaccinations, teeth, vet care, and deworming done regularly. Although our main specialty is gaited horses we certainly love, and enjoy all equine (Including mules as of 10/27/2013!!!), and have quite the mix at the moment. :)
We do some horse leasing or lessons for trail riding on our surrounding 36+ miles of National Forest trails, including Cedar Creek, Dry Fork/Paris Fork trails. We usually start with beginners in an enclosed area. Contact Theresa and Tim Anderson for more information on that. Just picture it...drive up (we have a spacious circle driveway for those big goose-necks, or student drivers..) , grab your horse out of a pasture, and tack up and wander off for a 1 to 12+ hour trail ride of various difficulty(depending on preference, of course. we understand not everyone is up to a 12++ hour trail ride;) or even an extreme/advanced short ride) or even enjoy a nice ride through National Forest open fields, or a pleasant ride down the back roads if your horse, and you are traffic trained. Whatever your preference is. (We suggest calling ahead for advice on where to park, where to ride, if you want us guiding a ride..) We board horses, And our youngest daughter Delaney, is an equine trainer using mostly Natural horsemanship methods combined with some humane, safe traditional skills.
