Elementary Drop Off/Pick Up Procedures:

The first day of school is the only time we let parents walk students to their classes (preschool is excluded from this). After tomorrow morning, all goodbyes and hugs need to happen prior to the front doors. This helps the students transition to start their day.

If your student needs to be taken out of or put into a car seat, or needs extra time, you will want to park you vehicle next to Central Office, the church lot, or the bus lot and walk your student to and from the building as the drop off lanes are for those who are ready to hop out and into the vehicle!

Families that plan to use the vehicle drop off lanes need to keep the fourth lane(the one closest to the parked cars) clear until AFTER 7:30 as this is our preferred way for anyone needing handicapped parking to safely get into those parking spots. If you park here prior to 7:30, you will be asked to move.

Please do not pull forward in the drop off lanes until you have been motioned by a staff member. Students are NOT to exit the vehicles prior to the white line where the staff member is standing. These procedures help us keep all of our young friends safe each day!

We've got the ReqTec fired up and rolling getting the food ready for tomorrow night's Softball Jamboree at NB. Games start at 4pm. Be sure to join us for some softball and for some dinner at the concession stand!

Softball Jamboree at NB on Tuesday 8/25!! No need to worry about dinner as we will have some fantastic dinner options at the games! Come out and watch your lady cats take the softball field!

Please welcome Mrs. Haeffner to our elementary and volleyball teams!

Hi everyone! My name is Trinity Haeffner, and I’m excited to join the NB team as a 4th‑grade teacher. This will be my second year in the classroom, and I’m grateful for the opportunity to grow with this community.
I was raised in Bolivar, Missouri, and later moved toward Jefferson City with my husband, Cameron. We have an adopted dog named Camper who keeps life fun and full of energy. Outside of school, I love spending time with friends and family, working on crafts, reading, and gaming.
I’m truly looking forward to being part of this school and getting to know our students, families, and staff. It already feels like a great place to call home.

I wanted to take a moment to circle back to our earlier post regarding a Phishing attempt that went through our district via email earlier in the week. This was a fairly common Cyber attack that frequently attacks school information systems through staff members' address books via their email. Multiple other school districts across the state were also similarly attacked. I would like to thank Chris Moss and his team at QNS for their prompt response and thorough solutions. As a result of their expertise, we were able to have the situation contained almost immediately and all district computers back online and functioning within a few hours. We're very blessed to have great partners in areas like this and thank them for their great work while keeping everyone informed and safe.

A huge thank you to all of our fantastic partners in the Callaway County Sheriff’s Office for their work in reviewing all of our safety protocols this morning district-wide.
A special thanks to our SRO Officer Nielsen and to our good friends at North Callaway for sharing their SRO Officer Bradley with us for today’s training.
Safety will always be our top priority.
