Mrs. Landers and Miss Rummell were selected by the Pennsylvania Department of Education (PDE) to attend the Range Finding Conference at the Penn Stater Hotel and Conference Center, June 8th through 10th. They worked alongside PDE to help develop scoring guidelines for the people who will be scoring the PSSA assessments. With only five educators per grade level per content area chosen from across the Commonwealth for this important work, this is a professional honor.

Third grade went to Benezette for their field trip today. Unfortunately we didn’t see any elk, but we did: learn about elk; watch a 4-D movie; go on a nature, trail walk; and learn the importance of elk habitat by playing a game, “Oh Elk.”
It was a great day!

Thank you, Redbank Valley community, for once again supporting, encouraging and celebrating the hard work of our students! Tonight, our third, fourth, and fifth graders hosted Remake RVIS, and we had a record number of supporters come out to learn about everything from cookies to birds to board games.

This event is completely student-driven, and our students continue to impress us with their creativity, teamwork, and ability to make things happen. We could not be more proud of them!

Today students at the Intermediate School were awarded for outstanding achievement starting with fifth graders Kason and Reese who received the Good Citizens Award presented by State Representative Scott Hutchinson.
Other notable recipients received awards for VFW Americanism coloring contest, Mr. T. and musical achievement, and perfect attendance. Finally, fifth grade graduation students were announced for the 2025 - 2026 school year.
