📣Heron Hospitality knows how to make a 💦splash💦, and this time they're doing it at the Children's Museum of New Bern!

Heron Hospitality is sponsoring an interactive water table, where kids can splash and play in flowing water and learn about wildlife in and around the local rivers. The water table will be custom-built for the museum with a section that will be wheelchair accessible.

Heron Hospitality invests in hidden gems in ENC, including Atlantis Lodge, a pet-friendly hotel nestled in the wild dunes of Pine Knoll Shores. They also boast the legendary Pony Island Inn, the perfect spot for a couples or family getaway on cozy Ocracoke Island. Visitors from around the world have stayed at the artfully-restored The Harvey, a beautiful boutique hotel in downtown New Bern that has become a favorite for staycations.

🦖If you see dinosaurs roaming the museum soon, be sure to thank Dr. David Baxter, Optometrist and Dr. Adrienne Pak Earle! 🦕

We are happy to announce that Baxter Eye Care is sponsoring the QuiverVision digital dinosaur world in our dinosaur exhibit!

Our visitors will be able to color dinosaurs, see them come to life on a screen, and watch them interact with other prehistoric creatures (all while learning interesting dino facts)!

The Baxter family has been caring for our community's eyes for three generations, dating back to 1901. We commend them for their long-standing tradition of helping others, all while staying up to date on the latest advancements in eye care services and optical products.

Pick up your paddle and come join us and Atlantic Dance Theatre for the 2nd Annual Dinking for Dance Pickleball Tournament!

Storms may have washed us out on our original date in the spring, but we are back at it with our new date: Saturday, Sept. 12!

The proceeds from this event will help fund a dance exhibit at the Children's Museum of New Bern honoring ADT's late founder, Elizabeth Pope.

We will have prizes, food, drinks, and endless fun!

🐈‍⬛The cat's out of the bag! We are so proud to announce that Verdigris Pet Hospital is sponsoring a play vet clinic in the children's museum!

Carefully crafted, science-minded with a goal to teach youngsters the basics of responsible pet ownership, this exhibit will be packed with educational and entertaining activities.

Those familiar with Verdigris Pet Hospital know their team has a reputation for being community-minded and giving to many great causes in the New Bern area. We are honored to be among them.
