Not only do they serve us delicious breakfasts and lunches every day, but they do it in a kitchen that is clean, safe, and held to the highest standards. The Craven County Schools Transportation Department has scheduled its next Bus Driver Class! If you want to make a difference for our students and community, this is your opportunity to join our team.

📅 Bus Driver Class Details

Dates: September 14, 15, and 16, 2026 (Attendance on all three days is mandatory to complete coursework)

Time: 8:30 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. daily

Location: DMV Driver’s License Office (1001 Downey Drive, New Bern, NC 28562)

Important Requirements:
A valid North Carolina driver’s license is required.
Candidates who haven't held an NC license for 5 consecutive years must provide driving records from any previous licensing state(s).

(You will need to complete a CCS application prior to starting the class.)
