🏆 Congratulations to Coach P.J. Neumann on being named the 2025-2026 Great Bridge Middle School Coach of the Year! P.j. Neumann

Championships are earned through hard work, discipline, and leadership—and Coach Neumann has exemplified all three.

Over the past two seasons, GBMS Wrestling has captured back-to-back regular season championships and back-to-back city tournament titles. Yet those accomplishments only tell part of the story.

Coach Neumann has built a culture where wrestlers embrace challenges, welcome competition, and understand that success comes from consistent effort and commitment to one another.

The respect and trust between Coach Neumann and his wrestlers is evident every time they step on the mat and every time they gather together as a team.

As Coach Neumann said:

“This award may have my name on it, but it truly belongs to all of us.”

Wolf vs. Wolf

Hidlay (‘24) vs. Macchiavello (‘18), winner will represent the U.S. at 92kg at the Senior World Championship.

The two will compete in a best-of-three series starting at noon (ET) this Saturday, June 13, at Freedom High School in Chantilly, Va.
