Summer is the perfect time to keep learning, exploring, and making memories together! Our June Activity Calendar is full of simple, fun activities that encourage reading, creativity, family time, and community exploration.

This month's adventures include:

The Craven Cruiser will also be visiting several New Bern neighborhoods! Check to see if yours is one of them!

🥦🍞🍕🥞Save on your electricity and grocery bills this summer! Let us cook for your kids and teens 18 and younger. Hot meals cooked and consumed on site at the locations below. These are offered Monday through Friday, June 1 through August 14. Our Craven Cruiser will also be rolling again this summer with fresh meals for some of our communities in New Bern.

This evening, we had the pleasure of celebrating our 🤩amazing🤩 School Nutrition team at the Craven County School Nutrition dinner. We heard heartfelt stories about the work that the school nutrition departments around the county are doing. We might be a little biased, but we think our team is the best!!

🎉Ms. Tara received an award for having Perfect Attendance for the entire year!!!
🎉Mr. Robert, school custodian, was nominated for the Dr. D Heart Award 🧡🐯🖤! He goes above and beyond each day to help make sure our cafeteria is running smoothly!

Have you completed the transportation request for the 26-27 school year? If you would like transportation for the 26-27 school year, you MUST complete a transportation request.

Even if your child currently rides a bus, transportation must still be requested for the 2026-2027 school year. Failure to complete a transportation request may result in your child not being assigned to a bus at the start of the school year.

2026-27 BUS Ridership Intent - ELEM SCHOOLS DIRECTIONS: Please fill out your student's bus needs for upcoming school year. Submit separate request for each child. Student ID numbers are required and may be found on report card, progress report or through Infinite Campus access. You may call your school with any questions.
