Selling my L&L kiln studio kiln. Awesome workhorse ! It has 1 year old elements, 3” brick, model 23T-240. Single phase. It’s all drilled for a vent, but doesn’t come with one. I’m including a nice amount of kiln shelves and posts with it. $2,600.

Over the last few months, the focus of my life has shifted dramatically. My daughter, Hannah, has leukemia and is undergoing treatment at Duke hospital in Durham. I am caring for her and her family most of my days. This is a marathon, not a sprint. Our whole family is helping, praying and working. Our church is supporting us, feeding Hannah and her family, giving money and time, and praying hard for Hannah to be healed and to be able bodied again to raise her 4 children.
I don’t see myself going back to full time pottery. My focus has shifted. I believe God has different things in mind for me. So I am closing the studio and selling off some equipment. I will be posting the items here in the next few days.

I’m no longer able to teach pottery while caring for my grandchildren, but some of my work is available at Made in NC. The owners of the shop have kindly created an entire table of my work! I sure miss being busy in my studio, but my family needs me right now as Hannah gets treatment for leukemia. Thank you Mark and Amanda for the lovely display! Please stop by Made in NC in Front street, in the old Wells Fargo building and shop locally made treats and art for your Christmas list.
Due to a family situation I’m closing the studio for a short time and will not be teaching for a while. When I reopen I will announce it. Not sure when. Thanks.
Made this custom dog treat jar for a customer. It was so fun to make and she loves it.
