Cincinnati has received a lot of snow since yesterday (not normal for this area), my area has about 10+ inches so far and the snow is still coming down heavily!

I LOVE this weather, and so do my puppies. It’s funny to watch them walk (with some difficultly) when snow is as deep as their little legs…dogs are smart, so to make moving in the snow easier, they start hopping like bunnies.

The Battle of Ohio. Browns vs Bengals. At THE JUNGLE.
High of 32 degrees (in the sun), and I was surprisingly warm enough. And it was my 1st NFL game, so there’s that

Highlights: GnR’s Welcome to the Jungle as the Bengals main entrance!!!

The WHO DEY chant (Who Dey, Who Dey, Who Dey Think Gonna Beat dem Bengals? Nobody!) well, with the Bengals track record, nobody could beat them at THAT game! lol

Joe Burrow is an awesome QB and Ja’marr Chase and Tee Higgins are amazing wide Recievers.

The overall vibe of the stadium was fun and awesome and the half time kick by a guy at 54yards was Amazing and he made it! Bengals should sign him up!

I love how loyal the fans of Cincy are despite wins or loses. I love living in Cincinnati…it’s an amazing city!

I just did a local 5k Turkey Trot in Mason, OH (a very nice suburb of Cincy, close to where I live).

*FYI, it was 32 degrees at the start with a high of 38. ❤️My kind of weather since I’m a human radiator!!! ❤️

Despite my love of the cold, I don’t understand the tshirt and shorts outfits.

I walked briskly and the last stretch I jogged.

It was around the Mason Community Center & High school (which is SUPER NICE!!! I looks like small university campus; im told it has 4000 students!!!)

Even dogs (and strollers) could join (I wish I would’ve known, so next year then).

I loved the crazy turkey hats and toboggans and even the turkey tutus.

I’d like to give a big shout out to whom I follow and inspired me to move. It’s not a huge thing to walk 3 miles, but for me it was huge because I live in a new city by myself, and my health journey is that, a journey. So I want to celebrate the victories, even though I had intended to jog the entire thing with my app (which is a great app btw), I just lost any momentum training halfway through, and wasn’t gonna do this as a walk. But yesterday, I remembered Bonnie and it reminded me to just do it and move. Big changes start with small movements. Thank you! ❤️
So yeah!!!

The Northern lights in Cincinnati…these are photos from my coworkers. I walked out around 10:30pm last night and thought, huh, nothing! I didn’t realize I needed to take a photo to see the magic…

How cool is that!!!!!

Watched these kiddos after work on Pi Day, and they had teacher workday next day so we had a slumber party. And so we could sleep in we made Banana nut bread (as round muffins bc of Pi day and ease of eating in the am).
The recipe was from and was so delicious and easy. It made the whole house smell amazing!
And they made it together!!!

TOMORROW IS 3.14 π Pi Day!!!!
I’m so excited! The math nerd 🤓 in me is in overdrive!!!

It is denoted by the Greek letter “π” Pi and used in mathematics to represent a constant, approximately equal to 3.14159.

The number π has been calculated to over one trillion digits beyond its decimal point.

Pi was originally discovered as the constant equal to the ratio of the circumference of a circle to its diameter.

Pi is a constant found in circles, no matter how big or small. So when you divide their C/D=π, it will always equal a number around π which is ~ 3.14

What do all these words mean?

Constant = something that doesn’t change

Ratio = relationship between 2 things, can be expressed as a proportion, fraction, or decimal ex- 1:2 or 1/2 or 0.5

C = Circumference (the distance around the circle)

D = Diameter (the distance from side to side that goes through the center)

Is pi in the Bible? Answer to come tomorrow!!!

Just a little something Pyper painted this week at school! Im so impressed, the 1st question I had was “Did you paint this?”…ofc she did. She’s my talented niece, and so very arty and smart!

Grizzly turned 1 just before the year and it’s hard to believe he’s the same dog! He and Gunner couldn’t be more opposite in EVERY SINGLE WAY!!!

Grizzly is bold, loud, full of energy, super clever, wants to play, very independent and yet a scaredy cat and constantly exposes his belly to anyone for belly rubs, will eat anything (and I mean all sorts of fruits and veggies I happen to be chopping in the kitchen—cranberries, carrots, apples, green beans, oranges, lemons, pumpkin, lettuce, etc).

He is a real joy, and is so cute and always making me laugh, and he is Gunner’s best buddy (although the first month Gunner kept giving me side eye and looking at me like I was crazy to have disrupted our routine and peace! I think now he sees my motivation, to bring bring more love and joy and companionship to our home!

❤️Grizzly and Gunner are both SUPER sweet, always want to play or be in your lap, and have never met a stranger.❤️However they quickly diverge from there, lol!

I feel beyond blessed to have scored 2 amazing (and polar opposite dispositions of) dogs.

Animals are amazing!
