Thank you to all who attended our Chamber of Commerce "Before Hours" event yesterday (Tuesday, April 28)! A great turnout, and so proud to be able to share what the Craven Literacy Council is.

CLC staff met for dinner last night at Morgan's to "farewell" Barb before her move. What a tremendous gift she has been to CLC!

We were able to tour the North Carolina Works offices last week! What a tremendous resource for New Bern and the surrounding area!

We are proud to announce that the Craven County Government Fundraiser "Jeans & Jersey Day" raised $496 to donate to the Craven Literacy Council. What a wonderful, and unexpected, gift!

New Tutor Training April 2026

Registration is now open for the April 2026 New Tutor Training!

The workshop begins on Tuesday, April 14, and will continue with sessions on April 16, 21, and 23 (Tuesdays and Thursdays) with a final session on June 9. These training sessions will be from 9:30 am until 12:30 pm.
