Shannon and Gypsy showed some serious cowgirl grit during their evening lesson at 14Carrot Stables — these two were out there living their best winter-wonderland-western life, proving once again that a true cowgirl doesn’t melt… she just rides on.

Snowy? Yes.
Cold? A little.
Fun? ALWAYS.

14Carrots Stable has experienced some difficult changes this year. Unfortunately Dakota's arthritis and bone spurs advanced to the point that she can no can no longer be ridden. However, on the bright side the injections are keeping her comfortable. This horse was my go-to lesson horse and has touched so many lives over the years. She will now enjoys a relaxing retirement filled with love & treats. Our sweet little Prancer is almost completely blind but is adjusting very well. She can still see some light/shapes & does very well going in & out of her Dutch door. She is very carful & if she gets frisky runs in a very tight circle and stays far from the fence. Stablemate Carrie is such a great friend and is very forgiving when she walks into her :) Carrie is now 29 & is semi retired. Gypsy is now our go-to lesson horse & is doing a great job & Peanut is doing well in her training. However, with all these changes my lessons are extremally limited. Most people I have talked with have been very understanding which I appreciate very much!

Hello everyone. 14Carrot Stable will be opening mid May. I am teaching very part-time this year as I am in real estate and working a lot of hours. Last years students will have priority and the option of resuming their usual schedule, however, I may have a few openings. Please feel free to check in with me in early may. Thanks so much!

Hello everyone, I am so sorry for lack of response to messages. 2 of our horses had serious health issues this year. They are both better and doing well but this resulted in me not teaching this year. I will be booking lessons again in spring. Thanks so much for your understanding
