Orchard Lane page Rules of Engagement (aka Keep our page clean!)

Welcome to our page! School employees share achievements of our students and staff, promote school events, provide avenues for feedback and ideas, and share educational resources. Page administrators will review postings to make sure they do not violate the rules of engagement. The intent is not to keep any negative or critical information from being posted, but to protect the privacy and rights of Orchard Lane students and staff. Naming individual students will not be allowed (with the exception of individual student awards, which are posted by page administrators). Please do not tag photos or comment with individual student names. Page administrators reserve the right to remove any comments at any time, for any reason… but we hope that won’t ever be necessary. Comments that will be removed include posts that are obscene, harassing, advertising, spam, derogatory, demeaning, malicious, defamatory, abusive, offensive, or hateful. Appropriate disciplinary action will be taken per the School District of New Berlin Non-Discrimination/Bullying/Harassment Policy: http://www.nbexcellence.org/parents/Parent_bullying.cfm. Saturday was World Mental Health Day on October 10!

The SDNB is committed to supporting student mental health and helping students access care when they need it.

Through its partnership with the Education Foundation of New Berlin, the District also benefits from the Drew Lietke Memorial Mental Health Care Fund, which helps address financial barriers to care for students who need additional support.

Established in memory of SDNB student Drew Lietke, the fund reflects a shared commitment to student well-being and ensuring that financial circumstances don't stand in the way of needed care.

New Berlin Eisenhower welcomes veterans, active service members, their families and community members to its Veterans Day ceremony.

Nov. 11, at 9:15 a.m. in the Eisenhower gymnasium

A catered brunch will follow the ceremony for our honored guests and their families.

Let’s bowl for better playgrounds!

Join the Education Foundation of New Berlin for Pins for Playgrounds, presented by Waukesha State Bank, on Sunday, Nov. 15, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at New Berlin Ale House. Proceeds support playground replacements at our elementary schools.

Gather a team of up to six bowlers for $250. Your lane includes 90 minutes of bowling, shoe rentals, a 16-inch pizza and a pitcher of soda. $75 from each team reservation goes to the elementary playground of your choice. Lanes are limited, so reserve yours soon!

Can’t attend? You can still support the project through the online auction or a donation.
