A friendly reminder for all of our Heritage families: Every Friday is Early Release!

Elementary Campus: 8:00 a.m.–2:10 p.m.
MSHS Campus: 8:00 a.m.–2:30 p.m.

Please plan accordingly for parent pickup.

Shuttles and buses will still run their regular routes, just on the adjusted early-release schedule.

The school year is here, and we’re kicking it off with a night for the whole Heritage family!

Join us Friday, September 11 at Lions Park for an evening of food, games, giveaways, and plenty of fun as we celebrate the start of another great year at Heritage! 🥳

Meet Bill Lent, our new Building Sub!

Bill is making an exciting transition from the business world into the classroom after prayerfully pursuing what he believes is God's calling for this next chapter.

He's already been a familiar face in the Heritage community, having led our elementary Cub Scout Pack for several years and coached 5th and 6th grade boys soccer. Now, he's excited to bring his background in writing, editing, and grammar into the classroom!

📚 MS & HS ORIENTATION

MS: 10:30 AM–12:00 PM
All 7th graders + new 8th graders

HS: 11:00 AM–12:00 PM
All 9th graders + new 10th–12th graders

Students will have the chance to:
✨ Meet teachers and other students
🏫 Learn more about their new school
🙌 Get comfortable before the first day!

Students only, parents/guardians will drop off and pick up.

BIG THINGS ARE HAPPENING AT HERITAGE!

While our students have been enjoying summer, we've been busy making improvements across campus!

🛝 A brand-new elementary playground
🎭 A fresh look for our theater with a newly painted black ceiling
💙 New decals bringing Patriot pride throughout the school
🔬 AND… our science renovation has officially begun!

We can't wait for our students to see everything that's new when they return!

Meet Avarie Philbrick, our new 4K Teacher!

Avarie has always loved working with children and feels blessed to help guide them through these important early years.

In her own words:

"My faith is a very important part of who I am, and I am grateful for the opportunity to share God’s love with those around me!"

Meet Clara Fuller, our new Middle School & High School Choir Instructor!

Clara is an HCS alumna who graduated in 2021 before earning degrees in Vocal Performance and Music Education from Michigan State University. After moving back to New Berlin earlier this year and teaching locally, she's excited to return to the place that helped shape her!

In Clara's own words:

"As a Heritage alum, I'm incredibly excited to be returning to this school as an educator. I look forward to being able to pour into the next generation of students in the same way my teachers here did for me."

Choir has always been a meaningful part of Clara's life, and she's passionate about creating that same experience for her students:

"Singing in choirs has always brought me so much joy and facilitating that same sense of community music-making in the classroom is my passion and privilege. I can't wait to meet my student musicians and see their artistry at work!"

Outside of the classroom and music studio, you might find Clara performing in a local chorus or community theatre, working toward her reading goal for the year, or exploring a new hiking trail. 📚🥾🎭

We are so excited to welcome Clara back to Heritage and can't wait to hear the beautiful music she and our students will make together!
