**Long Post Alert**

Over the past 5 years, I have had the pleasure to meet you, get to know you, and grow incredible bonds with many of you! The only word that comes to my mind is GRATEFUL. I am so grateful for all the lessons you've taught me, the laughs we've had, the funniest moments, and even the difficult moments. All of you have taught me something meaningful and I will never forget you or the memories we've created as I watched you flourish from kids at GLCPS into amazing young Adults.

In mid-August I was offered the opportunity to become a classroom teacher at a local middle school. This opportunity allows me to expand into the classroom and reach about 400 middle school students per year to hopefully have a positive impact on them. As excited as I am to take on a new role, I am equally saddened to leave GLCPS. What I loved the absolute most about my role as a School to Career Liaison at GLCPS, was ALL OF YOU! No matter where I work, I will always be cheering you on!!!

As I move into my new role, for any of your GLCPS Alumni needs like transcript requests, gala funds requests, FAFSA completion meetings, or any other college/career needs, please reach out to Ms. McPherson so she can point you in the right direction ([email protected]).

I want you to know that I love you all and I will absolutely cherish all of the memories we built together at GLCPS. You will forever be my first students! =)
