Thursday evening on Diamond #8 featured a showdown between two of the league's top teams as Tony's Auto Sales squared off against South Coast Towing in a game worthy of the spotlight at The Whale.

Manager Tommy Viera Jr.'s offense came out swinging, led by Rio Nunes, who drove in three runs on the night. His two-run single in the second inning helped fuel the South Coast attack. Brody Turgeon also turned in an outstanding performance at the plate, going a perfect 3-for-3 while scoring twice.

But the story of the game belonged to Tony's Auto slugger Bobby Seamans.

The powerful right-hander put together one of the most impressive offensive performances of the season, blasting two home runs and a double while driving in an eye-popping seven runs. Seamans scored twice himself and piled up an incredible 10 total bases to lead Manager Randy Phaneuf's squad.

As if his work at the plate wasn't enough, Seamans also shut the door on the mound. Entering in relief, he pitched the final 2⅓ innings, allowing just one hit while striking out four to secure the victory.

Tony's Auto received additional offensive contributions from Derek Dallaire and Kason Soares, who each drove in two runs in the winning effort.

When the dust settled, Tony's Auto had earned an impressive 15-4 victory over South Coast Towing, improving to 9-2 on the season.

It was another memorable night at The Whale, showcasing explosive offense, clutch pitching, and the competitive spirit that continues to make Whaling City Youth Baseball special.
