Global Learning Charter Public School

Our 5th grade students descended on Plymouth today, exploring the grounds of the living history museums at Plimoth Patuxet, the Plymouth Rock and other sites in the town known as America’s Hometown.

Now that the hustle and bustle of Graduation Day has subsided, here are some more photos from yesterday’s celebration: some group photos and some behind-the-scene moments.

We are always grateful for our community partners who support our promotion of STEM education and careers! We have been partnering with umassd and the Kaput Center for over ten years to bring STEM For Girls to GLCPS and now we are expanding that to STEM For ALL. This program is funded by a blue economy grant. We love all the engaged smiles!

That is the number of college credits this Senior class has collectively earned during their high school years.

Together they recorded the highest GPA of any graduating class in GLCPS history.

19 students earned the Seal of Biliteracy, 3 of them with distinction.

These students performed a total of 44 internship placements at businesses and organizations across greater New Bedford.

We celebrated all these achievements and many more during last night’s Senior Awards Night.

Seniors donned gowns and mortarboards today and walked through the halls of GLCPS to the rousing cheers of our GLCPS community! We ❤️ Class of 2026!
