After much hard work, dedication, and perseverance, the NOWI team opened its doors in New Bedford for its inaugural class on Monday, May 13th. The five-day Global Wind Organization (GWO) Basic Safety Training (BST) course, which includes modules such as First Aid, Fire Awareness, Working at Height, Manual Handling, and Sea Survival, was delivered to a sold-out class of offshore wind industry professionals.

We’d like to sincerely thank every Bristol Community College team member, funder, and partner who helped make this project finally come to life. It’s been a joy to collaborate with each of you, and we truly couldn’t have reached this milestone alone without your unwavering partnership and support. This week marks just the beginning of many more chapters to come. Onward and upward!
