I spoke to 6,7 & 8th graders about the value of building positive self esteem, healthy coping skills and making good decisions.

Today, I had to honor and privilege to speak at Dighton Rehoboth Regional High School.
About 500 students, freshman through senior class, made their way to the auditorium to discuss the dangers of early substance use, building positive self-esteem, and making good decisions.

Another great day at the office!
Today I had the honor and privilege of presenting to 7th and 8th graders at Nantucket New School, followed by a family education forum.
The students were respectful and tentative, and the parents were very interested and engaged in this very important topic.

I had a wonderful morning at the annual Barnstable County 7th Grade Youth Summit at 4 C’s this morning.
We discussed the importance of making good decisions, building positive self-esteem, and practical refusal skills to avoid peer pressure.

This event is sponsored by the Barnstable County Recreation Dept. and primarily facilitated by volunteers on the Youth Commission.
