✨ Staff Spotlight ✨
Please join us in welcoming Mrs. Daphne Costa, our Middle School Math & Lead Teacher! ❤️📚➗
As she begins her 5th year at St. Teresa of Calcutta School and her 28th year serving in Catholic education, Mrs. Costa continues to inspire students through her compassion, dedication, and unwavering belief that every child can succeed. Her own educational journey—from learning English in a bilingual classroom to becoming the first in her family to earn a master’s degree—has shaped the educator she is today.
Mrs. Costa treasures the lasting relationships she builds with her students and believes that mistakes are some of our greatest opportunities to learn. Her advice for this school year is one we can all take to heart: “It is okay to make mistakes, as they can be valuable learning opportunities.”
When she’s not teaching math, she’s a proud NSYNC and NKOTB fan, loves the movie A Walk to Remember, and even considers napping one of her favorite hobbies! 😊
We’re so grateful to have Mrs. Costa as part of our STOC family and look forward to another incredible year of learning, faith, and growth together.
