And to think it all started in NYS with advocates including myself fighting for decades to pass Child Victims Act.Gov. Cuomo signing into law 2019.The victims involving Catholic Church now settled for billions of 💵 across 🇺🇸.

The Archdiocese of San Francisco and lawyers for the survivors said the money would settle about 530 claims from people who said they were s*xually abused by clergy members.

According to ICE, the man taken into custody in East Durham on Saturday is being held without bond under the Laken Riley Act. He was previously arrested last week by sheriff’s deputies following an alleged incident with a 14-year-old girl.

Shocking Asher Lovy and NYC advocates worked hard to get city council to pass unanimously. Adams vetoed it on
Christmas Eve . The bill had a look back that victims of all abuse, including child s*x abuse could go back and seek justice while I understand the mayors concern about lawyers, taking advantage it was unwise of him to veto a bill that would help victims heal .  This is a double blow this week as a court threw out close to 500 adult survivor cases involving rapes and s*xual sites and prisons, and now the mayor of New York City vetoes a bill that was worthy of being signed.
