Can’t think of a better way to kick off Spring break than for the children to be welcomed this morning with this beautiful banner of balloons and to end the morning by having a wonderfully planned party by our amazing room parents and volunteers. 🥰

On St. Patrick’s Day we were fortunate to have a student come into each classroom and show us Irish dancing. We also sampled soda bread! It was a great way to celebrate the day and add to what a couple of classes are learning about Europe.

Today our current kindergarten students welcomed the upcoming class to spend the afternoon with them. They had a picnic, recess and then went inside to color and play bingo. We were unable to do this last year which made today even more enjoyable. Welcome kindergarten class of 2021!

Our parents always find a way to make Teacher Appreciation Week special! Monday we were greeted with a decorated doorway; then many delicious treats along with cards made by the children throughout the week. This video of our students is one we will treasure!! ❤️ It's a joy to serve so many wonderful children and their families. Thank you all!

The kindergarten class learned about Veterans Day this week. In honor of all our veterans, each child colored a section of the flag and a letter. To all of you who have served or are still serving we say thank you!

We were so surprised to have this wonderful message greet us this week! We have all been distracted by navigating many new routines, yet our parents took time this week to have their children send cards and pictures to the teachers. We know this is Teacher Appreciate week, but for us it reminds us of how much we appreciate all of you!

Ms. Leah's afternoon group had fun painting snow earlier this week.So far this year, these children have had many experiences with a variety of art media. It was fun to be able to take this art exploration outside.
