We celebrated these four ladies today. After over a century of educational experience between them, they are all retiring from Grant Line this year. Thank you Lisa McCory, Janis Coffman, Allison Schneider, and Jeanna Renner for reaching young minds and taking such good care of Grant Line students, staff, and families. We love you all and are excited for your next chapters!
Our 4th grade will be having their celebration tomorrow afternoon from 12 - 2. Because they will be outside for a portion of the time, our car rider line/daycare lane will be closed off. If you need to enter the building on 5-28-26 from 12 - 2, you will need to park in the bus lane and walk around to the front door. Keep in mind our busses come in around 2, so you will need to be out of the bus lane by then. Thank you for your help!

We are incredibly grateful to the New Albany-Floyd County Education Foundation for their generous support through the Great Classroom Grant program!
Thanks to their funding, our library was able to add a variety of hands-on STEM activity packs that encourage students to build, experiment, problem-solve, and explore through creative play and discovery. These resources have already made a tremendous impact by increasing student engagement, collaboration, and excitement for STEM learning across multiple grade levels.
One of the best parts has been watching students light up with curiosity as they work together, test ideas, and challenge themselves in new ways. The library has become an even more interactive space for creativity, critical thinking, and exploration.
Thank you again to the Education Foundation for investing in opportunities that directly benefit our students and help inspire the next generation of thinkers, creators, and innovators!
