🇺🇸 We Remember. We Honor. We Will Never Forget.
Twenty-five years ago today, our nation experienced a tragedy that forever changed our world. We remember the lives lost, the families left grieving, and the first responders, service members, and ordinary citizens who demonstrated extraordinary courage in the days that followed.
Yet September 11th also revealed something deeply human: in the midst of fear and uncertainty, people reached for one another. Strangers became neighbors. Communities opened their doors. Compassion crossed borders and offered hope when it was needed most.
That spirit of humanity is at the heart of “Come From Away,” which we will bring to the stage this fall. Based on the remarkable true story of the thousands of passengers stranded in Newfoundland after the attacks, the musical reminds us of the extraordinary kindness that can emerge during our darkest moments.
As we remember September 11th, may we carry forward the qualities that brought people together then, and that remain just as important today: compassion, generosity, dignity, courage, and a willingness to care for one another.
