Qualifications/ Certifications:
Experience, education and training are very important to me! Here is a brief list of my qualifications:
•I am a mom to our precious two year old son.
•I have been a teacher/ bus driver with our local Head Start program since 2006.
•I completed my Child Development Associate.
•I graduated in May of 2013 with a degree in Early Childhood Education.
•I am working on a

Directors Certification.
•I am a member of NAEYC and IAEYC
•I am certified in Adult and Pediatric CPR, First-Aid and AED through the American Red Cross.
•I am in the process of becoming a Liscenced Daycare Center through the state of Indiana

Who Am I? I am the Owner/ Director of a small in-home childcare in the heart of New Albany, Indiana. I am making Eco- friendly, Organic, and Green choices for the families and children I serve. I am teaching children and families how to care for our environment, to play and learn in the natural world, and to strengthen developmental skills. What I Do
I use All Natural toys, equipment, and household cleaners to promote a healthy, chemical free environment. I am proud to support:

As all of our former kiddos venture off tomorrow to their new programs, I wish them the best happiness and success! We have been part of an amazing little community here at Modern Mama's Childcare & Preschool, one each of you helped create. It is a bittersweet transition for everyone. Good luck and all my love ♡

I am still working til midnight, this is my 14th+ hour of work today :/ I got news that a kiddo flushed a toy in our toilet. We do not have working plumbing this evening. Emergency plumber is $300+ to come out and clear the pipes.
In other words, we will not have working bathrooms for the children tomorrow on our LAST day :( I am so sorry. Responsibly, I should close for the day. I will leave it to the parents whether or not you send your kiddo. I will ask my neighbor if we can use his restroom as a backup. Please text me or call if you have questions. Thank you for understanding
