FULL & SO VERY BLESSED!

Our hearts are FULL in more ways than one!

We are so incredibly grateful for all of the amazing families who trust us with their little ones and for the continued love and support of our Schoolhouse community.

At this time, we are FULL! While we wish we could say yes to every family who reaches out, we are so thankful to have reached this point.

If you are hoping to join our Schoolhouse family, please give us a call to be added to our waitlist. Should a space become available, we will reach out to families on our list.

🚗✈️🚢 Transportation Week is off to a FAST start! 🏁💨

Our little learners are having so much fun exploring all the ways we get from here to there! 🌎

🧼 Car Wash Sensory Tables — scrub, splash, and get those cars sparkling!

⛵ Floating Boats — our little engineers designed boats out of aluminum foil and tested them to see if they would float!

🧩 Transportation Tangrams — using shapes to create different modes of transportation and putting those problem-solving skills to work!

🌎 Land, Air & Sea Sorting — learning how to categorize different types of transportation based on where they travel!

We’re learning through hands-on play, creativity, problem-solving, and LOTS of fun! ❤️

And this is just the beginning… we have plenty more transportation adventures ahead! 🚦🚌🚁🚤

MIRROR PORTRAIT In this creative self-reflection activity, children will use dry erase markers to draw their own faces directly onto a mirror.

Children will: Each receive a small mirror and a dry erase marker. Look at their reflection in the mirror and observe their facial features—eyes, nose, mouth, hair, and any unique details. Use the dry erase marker to carefully draw their face right onto the mirror, following the outline and adding details. Show their mirror drawings to the group and talk about what they noticed about their own face.

OUTCOMES This activity encourages observation, self-awareness, fine motor skills, and creativity, while giving children a fun, hands-on way to explore self-portraits and identity.

Our family was originally on the waitlist for another daycare that we were hoping to get into. We couldn’t wait forever, so we started exploring other options and found the Schoolhouse of New Albany. Looking back, being on that other waitlist may have been one of the best things that happened to our family because it ultimately led us to the Schoolhouse.

If Schoolhouse isn’t already at the top of your daycare list, it should be. The staff take incredible care of our children, are genuinely attentive, and are always responsive to our questions. The staff have become quick friends both at daycare and outside of it, and we are incredibly grateful for that.

Sending your children to daycare can be stressful, but knowing how well our kids are cared for at Schoolhouse takes much of that stress away. We have complete confidence that they are loved, cared for, and in great hands every day.

I can’t emphasize enough how highly we recommend Schoolhouse of New Albany. If your child is offered a spot, take it, you’ll be very glad you did!

You’re Invited to Grandparents Day!

Join us for one of our favorite afternoons of the year!

📅 Friday, September 11
⏰ 3:30–4:30 PM

We can’t wait to welcome all of the amazing grandparents, grandfriends, and other special people in our children’s lives for an afternoon of making memories! Guests will enjoy a special craft and a delicious snack alongside their favorite little learner.

If grandparents aren’t available, we’d love for your child to invite any important person in their life to celebrate with them. Everyone is welcome!

Please click the RSVP link in our bio and let us know the total number of guests attending so we can have plenty of crafts, snacks, and smiles ready for everyone.

If you’d like your child’s guest to take them home after the event, please notify the front office ahead of time so we can plan accordingly.

We can’t wait to celebrate with all of you and create memories that will last a lifetime!

I LOVE this family.

The Ashbrook’s took Harvey on another trip.

This time to Angelica, New York where we stayed in our friends cabin, swam in the waterfall, cooked our meals over a campfire, fished, and of course roasted marshmallows.

I can’t thank everyone enough for continuing to take Harvey with you on your trips. ❤️

52 five-star reviews in just two years. And while we are incredibly proud of that number, what means even more to us is who those reviews are about.

Our reviews are for the current owners and the current staff who are here loving, teaching, nurturing, and caring for your children every single day.

They aren’t reviews from years ago or from people who remember a completely different school. They are from the families who are experiencing The Schoolhouse of New Albany as it is today.

They are natural. They are authentic. And they come from the people who actually walk through our doors, know our teachers, see our classrooms, experience our curriculum, and trust us with their children.
