"Helping Others Grow" by educating the public on good gardening practices and sharing their love of gardening.

Members of the Sunnyside Master Gardener Association (SMG) must have completed Master Gardener training and completed 35 hours of volunteer service at approved projects. After earning Master Gardener status, membership in SMG entitles them to monthly membership meetings, a monthly newsletter (Sunnyside Thymes), advanced training opportunities,and participation in other events sponsored by SMG like the annual Herb and Garden Festival and annual Wreath Making Class.

It is with GREAT PRIDE that the Sunnyside Master Gardener team that have been caring for the Falls of the Ohio gardens for over 20 years have been awarded the “2025 Green Thumb Award” from the DNR. So well deserved!
