We had a fantastic first day of the Summer Meals Program, serving 98 free lunches to children and teenagers! 🎉🥪🍎

All youth ages 0–18 are welcome to enjoy a FREE lunch at the New Albany Central Library every weekday from 12–12:45 PM, June 1 through July 31. No registration is needed.

• Tuesday, June 2: Pizza Power Up, Red Bell Peppers, Sliced Pears, Milk
• Wednesday, June 3: Mac & Cheese with Garlic Knot, Green Beans, Grapes, Milk
• Thursday, June 4: Crispy Chicken Sandwich, Celery Sticks, Apple Slices, Milk
• Friday, June 5: Mandarin Chicken & Rice, Steamed Broccoli, Fresh Strawberries, Milk

The Summer Meals Program is made possible thanks to a partnership with NAFC Schools Food & Nutrition Services.

Thank you to Central Christian Church for providing every 4th grade girl at SEJ with a care package to help them prepare for middle school. We appreciate your kindness! 💚

A big thank you to Hope Southern Indiana and Floyd County EMA for providing emergency preparedness kits to all of our 3rd graders, following the end of their unit on a related topic. We appreciate our community partners!

Happy Field Day 2026!! Something tells us that these kiddos are going to sleep well tonight! A big thank you to Mr. Robert for planning such a fun day and to our volunteers who helped make it a successful event!

Don't forget it is field day today. Please make sure the children have tennis shoes on for today.
