Our August Cooking & Baking Classes begin next week, and we’re continuing our delicious walk down the Red Carpet with recipes inspired by famous faces and culinary superstars! 🌟👩‍🍳👨‍🍳

Sweet heat, smoky vibes, and tropical energy! These sliders taste like island sunshine. 🌴🔥

⭐ Week 2 — 08/11/26
Aarón Sánchez’s Mexican Street Corn
Creamy. Tangy. Spicy. Crunchy. The ultimate fiesta food from a true culinary powerhouse! 🌽🎉

⭐ Week 3 — 08/18/26
Bruno Mars’ Chicken Adobo
Savory, sweet, garlicky Filipino perfection! Tender, flavorful, and absolutely unforgettable. 🎶🍗

⭐ Week 4 — 08/25/26
Ming Tsai’s Curry Vegetables with Rice Noodles
Colorful vegetables, bold curry flavor, and delicious rice noodles come together for one seriously tasty dish! 🍜🥕🥦

This month’s menu is packed with BIG flavors, exciting ingredients, and recipes your young chefs will be proud to recreate at home!

🎮🏆 ACHIEVEMENT UNLOCKED: GAMER CAMP COMPLETE! 🏆🎮

Week 6 of Mesa Kids Summer Camp was one EPIC adventure!

Our young chefs entered the kitchen, chose their character, and cooked their way through five levels of gamer-inspired recipes! Along the way, they unlocked new kitchen skills, earned major confidence points, and defeated every delicious challenge we put in front of them! 👩‍🍳👨‍🍳

🎮 LEVEL 1: Mario Golden Star Cookies ⭐
🌋 LEVEL 2: Minecraft Lava Chicken Sandwiches
🍕 LEVEL 3: Freddy Fazbear’s Pizza
🧁 LEVEL 4: Skyrim Sweet Rolls
🌭 FINAL BOSS: Sonic Chili Dogs

There was mixing, measuring, chopping, rolling, decorating, teamwork, laughter, and just enough chaos to keep things interesting! 😂

Some campers raced through the kitchen like Sonic. Others built their recipes one ingredient at a time like Minecraft. And a few may have kept one eye on Freddy while the pizza was in the oven! 👀🍕

By the end of the week, the campers had officially leveled up from Kitchen Newbies to Gamer Camp Legends! 🏆

Meanwhile, our Wednesday Night Cooking & Baking Class traveled straight to paradise with Jimmy Buffett’s Key Lime Pie! 🌴🥧

Our young chefs created a creamy, sweet-and-tart summer dessert that was worthy of its own tropical victory dance! No controllers were needed for this challenge—just a little measuring, mixing, and plenty of lime! 🍋‍🟩

Our Once Upon a Recipe Preschool Camp isn’t your average cooking camp… because let’s be honest… asking preschoolers to sit still for 2½ hours is a recipe for disaster! 😂

So we don’t!

We laugh… A LOT! 🤣

Every recipe begins with a story, and every story comes to life in our kitchen!

Along the way, they discovered that books and food make the perfect recipe for learning!

📖 One of the BIGGEST hits of the week was “I Don’t Like Peas!” 🫛

If your preschool chef joined us this week, you HAVE to ask them about Daisy and her mom! We promise you’ll get the cutest retelling (with lots of dramatic flair! 😂).

You also may have heard all about Chester & Harry while your little one proudly shared one of the yummy treats they made themselves. Those stories have become camp favorites!

Another incredible week of Summer Camp is in the books, and our campers had an absolute blast recreating some of their favorite restaurant and store-bought foods… from scratch! 🤯👩‍🍳

This week was all about proving that homemade really does taste better! ❤️

Our talented campers whipped up:
🍕 Pizza Hot Pockets
🍪 Pink Sugar Cookies inspired by Crumbl
🌯 Chipotle Burrito Bowls
🍝 Olive Garden Alfredo
🥥 Girl Scout Samoa Cookies

From kneading dough to learning new cooking techniques, these young chefs gained confidence in the kitchen while discovering just how much fun it is to recreate their favorite foods at home. We have a feeling there were a few parents who happily volunteered as taste testers this week! 😋🙋‍♀️🙋‍♂️

Meanwhile, our Wednesday Night Cooking & Baking Class took a page from the one and only Barefoot Contessa! 🌿✨ Our students prepared Ina Garten’s Chicken in a Pot with Orzo, and WOW… what a comforting, flavor-packed meal! They learned techniques for building rich flavors, cooking with fresh ingredients, and creating a meal that looks as beautiful as it tastes.

Another AMAZING week of Summer Camps is in the books at Mesa Kids Cooking School, and this one was a baker’s dream! 🎉

Our campers spent the week channeling their inner Paul Hollywood and Mary Berry as they tackled everything from homemade sourdough starters to fresh baked rolls and butter! 🥖✨

👩‍🍳 This week’s bakers created:
🍞 Sourdough Starter & Muffins
🥐 Ham & Cheese Puff Pastries
🍪 Sourdough Chocolate Chip Cookies
🍎 Apple Donuts
🧈 Fresh Baked Rolls & Homemade Butter

Not only did they make some seriously delicious treats, but they also learned the science behind baking, how yeast works, the importance of patience, and why sometimes the best recipes take a little extra time and love. ❤️

And while Summer Camps were rolling, our Wednesday Night Cooking & Baking Class turned up the heat with 🔥 Sunny Anderson’s Buffalo Chicken Meatballs! 🔥 These young chefs knocked it out of the park and proved once again that they can handle recipes worthy of the red carpet! 🌟

This week at Mesa Kids Cooking School we took on our SOLD OUT DOUBLE SESSION of Nailed It! Summer Camp and these campers absolutely CRUSHED IT! 💪👩‍🍳👨‍🍳

From cupcakes 🧁 to cookies 🍪 to cakes 🎂, our young bakers spent the week mixing, measuring, decorating, creating, and most importantly… having FUN! 😍

The creativity was off the charts and the kitchen was filled with laughter, teamwork, and some of the yummiest treats around! Just wait until you see some of the AMAZING cakes our campers created on the final day! 👀🎂🔥
