Everyone has a Victory story.
For some, it was the ball trips. The practices, the long rides home, the teammates who became lifelong friends, and the games you would give anything to play just one more time.
For others, it was NACSC. Since 1985, generations of VCA students have made the trip to Tennessee to compete in everything from basketball and volleyball to track, photography, singing, oratory, and Bible quizzing. Years later, we still hear former students ask, “Has anybody broken my record yet?” or remind us to bring home another gold medal.
And for so many, it was the people.
The teachers who knew you. The coaches who pushed you. The friendships that lasted long after graduation. The people who gave years, and even decades, of their lives to making Victory what it was.
Since 1980, Victory Christian Academy has had the opportunity to be part of the lives of generations of students. We’ve watched them leave our four walls and go on to colleges and universities across the country. They’ve become pastors, principals, healthcare professionals, business leaders, corporate professionals, and so much more.
But some of our favorite stories aren't about what happened after graduation.
They're about the students who simply needed a chance.
The student who might have gotten lost in the crowd somewhere else. The kid who needed someone to believe they could do more than they thought they could. The athlete who might never have gotten the opportunity to put on a uniform at another school.
Victory gave them a place.
Today, there are alumni, former parents, staff members, churches, families, and friends all over who still hold a special place in their hearts for this little school in New Albany.
We call them Friends of Victory.
And we believe those friends can help make sure another generation gets their chance, too.
Our goal is simple: if every Friend of Victory committed to giving just $5 a month, those small gifts together could make a tremendous difference in the future of Victory Christian Academy.
Maybe you graduated from Victory. Maybe your children went here. Maybe you coached a team, taught a class, traveled with us to competition, cheered from the stands, or simply believe in what this school has meant to our community.
Whatever your Victory story is, we hope you'll help us keep writing it.
Become a Friend of Victory.
