✏️ Journaling in Preschool ✏️

Our preschoolers have been working on journaling, and we are so proud of them! 💛

Journaling at this age helps build:
• Early writing skills
• Pencil grip and fine motor development
• Letter and name recognition
• Creativity and self-expression

Some of our friends are drawing detailed pictures, some are practicing writing their names, and others are beginning to sound out words. Every page looks different — and that’s exactly how it should be! 😊

We love watching their confidence grow as they put their thoughts and ideas onto paper.

Learning starts small… and these little hands are doing BIG things! ✨

Today at Buttons & Bows we had so much fun with our St. Patrick’s Day sensory activity ☘️💚

Our little ones explored green paint inside sealed sensory bags while decorating their shamrocks. This is such a great way to work on fine motor skills, hand-eye coordination, and sensory exploration — all while keeping things mess-free!

We love watching their little hands squish, press, and create 🥰
Learning through play is the best kind of learning!
