School Bus Safety Reminder

As we begin the new school year, we want to remind our families and community about an important safety rule:

When a school bus is stopped with its red lights flashing and the stop arm extended, you MUST STOP. Do not pass the bus.

Please remember:
• Stop when the red lights are flashing and the stop arm is extended.
• Never attempt to drive around a stopped school bus.
• Watch carefully for students who may be crossing the roadway.
• Remain stopped until the bus has turned off its red lights and retracted the stop arm.

School buses make frequent stops to pick up and drop off our most precious passengers—our students. A few extra seconds of patience can make all the difference.

Please slow down, stay alert, and STOP for the school bus. Let’s work together to keep our students safe!

🎤 Three days in…and Superintendent Dr. Jason Fine is already facing the tough questions! 😂

On Friday, Mrs. Dugal and Mr. Gledhill invited Dr. Fine to meet with more than 50 fourth graders—and let’s just say, they came prepared!

The questions were off the charts:
⭐ What’s your favorite color?
⭐ What’s your favorite job?
😳 What’s it like to suspend a student? (There was A LOT of interest in that one!)

Dr. Fine handled the fourth-grade interrogation like a pro—and even had a little magic up his sleeve. 🪄✨ No one saw that coming!

A great way to wrap up the first three days of school—connecting with our Eagles, sharing some laughs and answering the questions that really matter!

[NAPLS] Due to an abundance of caution and the extreme rain combined with the possibility of flooding in areas of the district, New Albany - Plain Local Schools will be on a two hour delay this morning. There is no morning Eagles Nest & Kindergarten Assessments will be impacted. Communication on that will go directly to ELC families later this morning.
