A huge THANK YOU to all of our parent and teacher volunteers that served at last nights Family Night. 250 hot dogs eaten, MANY rounds of bingo played and more books than we can count left the Book Fair shelves! What a wonderful evening shared with our Fairmont family and friends. 🌭📚

This week's "Wild and Wonderful!" feature is Patty Needham! Ms. Needham is a Special Ed Assistant at Fairmont and has worked in education for 25 years. She finds it most rewarding to build trust with students so they know she will always advocate for them. Outside of school, she enjoys gardening for wildlife. She has been happily married for 45 years, is a mother of three children, and a "Granny" to eight grandchildren. Here's a fun fact you might not know about her: she can't sit on the floor criss-cross applesauce! We are so grateful to have her as part of our Fairmont family!

We are excited to share this week’s "Wild and Wonderful!" feature on Pamela Warren, one of our amazing first-grade teachers.

This is Pam's 30th year in education, and she finds it most rewarding to create a safe learning environment where her students can thrive. She loves building a new classroom family each year and even has a class pet hamster named Eli. When she isn't at school, Pam enjoys walking, reading, and cooking. She loves spending time with her husband, John, her daughter, Bailey, and her son-in-law, Alex. The beach is her family's favorite place to visit. Her daughter has two pets, a bunny named Tulip and a "sassy" guinea pig named Opal, who has her own room and spends a lot of time with Pam and her husband. Here's a fun fact you might not know about Pam: she hates cheese! We are so grateful to have her as part of the Fairmont family, even if she doesn’t like cheese!

It's Wild and Wonderful Wednesday!

We’re so excited to introduce Shari Smith for this week's Wild and Wonderful spotlight! Shari is a 4th-grade teacher with 15 years of experience in education. She finds the most rewarding part of her job to be helping students reach their full potential in a safe space. Shari has two high-school-aged children, Ryan and Hannah, and a dog named Ivy. Outside of school, she loves reading, hiking, and playing pickleball. A fun fact about Shari is that she was born on an Air Force base in Panama City, Florida. We’re thankful to have Shari as part of our Wild and Wonderful Fairmont Family!
